Like Chevy Chase Bank, Capital One has an outstanding tradition of community service and support, and a record of investing time, talent and financial resources in our communities. This shared belief in giving back to our communities can already be seen. Capital One and Chevy Chase Bank provided $25 million in equity for 319 rental units for seniors and families in Southeast Washington, D.C. The property was a substantial rehabilitation of a dilapidated, vacant public housing property. A grand opening was held in September, 2009 for Overlook at Oxon Run.
