What will I need to use Online Banking for Small Business?
You'll need a Chevy Chase Business Check Card or ATM Card. Logging in with your user name and password (selected at enrollment) plus your Card number and PIN allows you to get to the accounts linked to your Card. You'll also need a business checking account linked to your Card to pay bills online. In addition, we require that you use an Internet browser that is at least version 4.0 and supports 128-bit encryption in order to do your banking securely.
How do I enroll in Online Banking for Small Business?
To enroll in Online Banking for Small Business, all you need is your Business Check Card and PIN number. To get a Business Check Card, just visit a branch near you. If you already have a Business Check Card, enroll now or see our demo.
Who can enroll in Online Banking for Small Business?
Online Banking for Small Business was designed for sole proprietors and small business owners. All signers may have a Business Check Card and can enroll in Online Banking for Small Business.
How do I link accounts to my Card?
To link your business accounts to your Business Check Card, simply call us at 1-877-987-4BIZ (4249), visit a branch near you, or login to Online Banking for Small Business and go to "Other Services — Link Accounts to Your Card."
How can I tell what transaction another signer has conducted on our account?
Within the account history details, both on your regular statement and within Online Banking for Small Business, transactions conducted by business signers are identified by the last four digits of that signer's Business Check Card.
How much does Online Banking for Small Business cost?
Online Banking for Small Business account access is absolutely FREE — review your account history, transfer funds and more. You can also save time and money by using our free online bill payment feature including e-Bills.
Can all signers use online bill payment?
All signers can enroll in online bill payment. However, online bill payment treats each signer uniquely. Therefore, one signer will not be able to see what another signer has established with respect to payees, scheduled payments, etc. We recommend you designate one signer as the online bill payment representative to avoid any possible duplicate or missed payments. Please note that after a payment has been processed, all signers with access to Online Banking for Small Business will be able to view the paid items in "Account Info — View Activity."
My account requires dual signatures. Can I use Online Banking for Small Business and the online bill payment feature?
If your account requires dual signatures for checks, we will issue you an ATM card. The ATM card will allow you to view account balances and transactions. However, you will not be able to transfer funds or pay bills online with the Service.
I currently use the personal Online Banking service for both my personal and business accounts. Can I use Online Banking for Small Business?
Online Banking for Small Business lets you manage your personal finances separately from your business finances. Once you acquire a Business Check Card and enroll in Online Banking for Small Business, you will be able to manage your finances separately.
Will Online Banking for Small Business allow me to manage my business expenses?
With Online Banking for Small Business, you can manage your business expenses by downloading transaction activity into QuickBooks, Quicken®, Microsoft® Money or spreadsheet software.
Will Online Banking for Small Business allow access to non-account signers to perform certain transactions?
Only account signers can have a Business Check Card and therefore access to Online Banking for Small Business. If you have certain cash management activities that require access by employees to establish, approve and release transactions, Chevy Chase Online Access is the appropriate solution.

Chevy Chase Bank-Approved Browsers
Our standards are among the highest of companies on the Internet. We require that you use a current version of a browser that supports 128-bit encryption and SSL3, the highest level of encryption commercially available. We do not allow any information from your banking session to be stored on your hard drive unless you download it and save it on your computer.
Password and PIN
Online Banking for Small Business uses a multi-layer approach to protecting your accounts online. The first layer includes your User Name and Password. The second layer, PIN Protect, provides an easy-to-use on-screen tool that adds an extra layer of security to your Online Banking Session. And remember, you should never disclose your password or PIN to anyone, including anyone claiming to represent Chevy Chase Bank.
Preventing Unauthorized Use
Chevy Chase Bank uses firewalls to prevent anyone without proper authorization from accessing Online Banking. A firewall also regulates information coming in and going out, making sure that communications happen only between approved parties.
Timed Log Out
If you leave your computer unattended, go to another page at chevychasebank.com or go to another website without logging out, we will automatically end your banking session after 10 minutes of inactivity.
