Moving your business accounts to Chevy Chase Bank is easy! Because we value your business and want your account opening experience to be easy and convenient, we have provided the following information to help you prepare the documents you will need when you come to one of our hundreds of conveniently located branches. Step 1: Account Owner Information
When you come into a branch to open your business account you will need:
- Names listed on current accounts
- Street address (no post office box)
- Social Security Number and/or Tax Identification Number
- Date of birth
- Government photo ID (Drivers License, Passport, etc.)
Step 2: Entity Documentation
The entity documentation required will vary based on the type of business you own, as defined below. While we highly recommend that you provide this documentation at account opening, if some elements are not available, we will work with you to obtain these documents. However, if we do not receive the required documents within 30 days of account opening, your account will be subject to closure. District of Columbia Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs
If you need to register your business, obtain information and register now. Simply select the state in which you wish to register.
Step 3: Forms
We have provided the following forms to make your account transition easier. Simply open the documents*, print and complete the information and follow the distribution instructions on the forms.
Step 4: Come into a Branch
