Moving your account to Chevy Chase Bank is easy! Because we value your business and want your account opening experience to be as simple as possible, we put together the following helpful information and links to all the forms you need to easily make the transition to your new bank, Chevy Chase Bank!
 Step 1: Account Owner Information
When you come into a branch to open your personal account you will need:
- Street address (no post office box)
- Social Security Number
- Date of birth
- Government photo ID
Accounts will be opened in the name(s) of those present at account opening. Other signers can be added at a later time, as needed.
Step 2: Forms
We have provided the following forms to make your account transition easier. Simply open the documents,* print them and complete the information, then follow the distribution instructions on the forms.
Step 3: Access
After you open your account, you can link all your deposit, credit and investment accounts to your Chevy Chase Check Card. You also can access your accounts in Online Banking, Telephone Banking and at Chevy Chase Bank ATMs.
