These contributions are not paid directly from the assets of your annuity or life insurance policy. The payments are paid to CCIA directly from the insurance companies. At CCIA, payment of these fees does not secure placement on any preferred or recommended product lists. Additionally, no portion of the payments received by CCIA are paid to or shared directly with your financial advisor. These payments represent a marketing allowance, which may sometimes be referred to as "revenue sharing or contingent commissions."
Such payments are subject to applicable state law and regulations. CCIA maintains a list of acceptable uses for these funds, which includes seminars, professional training, advertising, technology, employee and client appreciation events, compliance education and resources, and other generalized promotional events.
These funds have not and will not be used to promote the sale of any single product, specific vendor products, and/or particular category of product(s). Please refer to each Company’s marketing or product materials for additional disclosure regarding each Company’s distribution of such marketing payments.
