1. NO PURCHASE OR TRANSACTION NECESSARY TO ENTER SWEEPSTAKES: Open to any U.S. resident. Employees of Chevy Chase Bank, F.S.B. (Sponsor), and their subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, owners, employees, Planit, and members of their immediate families (spouses, parents, siblings and children) are not eligible to participate.
2. TO ENTER Metro ATM Celebration SWEEPSTAKES: Make a withdrawal at any Chevy Chase Bank Metro ATM September 14 - September 25, 2005. You may also enter the sweepstakes by hand-printing your full name, complete address, daytime and evening phone numbers, on a postcard (an "alternative entry") and mailing it to: Chevy Chase Bank Metro ATM Celebration Sweepstakes, P.O. Box 61, Riderwood, Maryland 21139-0061. Entries must be postmarked by September 25, 2005 to be entered for the sweepstakes and received by October 31, 2005. No photocopies, reproductions, or mechanically reproduced copies of entries allowed. Entries must be legible and completed in original hand written form. Alternative entries become the property of Chevy Chase Bank and none will be returned. One (1) game coupon will be mailed per alternative entry.
3. CONSUMER DISCLOSURE - PRIZES: One (1) One-year free metro rail ride and parking may be awarded to 1 winner. The approximate retail value of the Metro rail and parking package is $3,000. Odds of winning are estimated to be 1 out of 72,000. Thirty (30) pairs of Capitals game tickets may be awarded to 30 winners. The approximate retail value of the Capitals game tickets is $150. Odds of winning are estimated to be 1 out of 2,400. One hundred (100) $25 Cash bonuses with the opening of a Chevy Chase Bank personal checking account may be awarded to 100 winners. Odds of winning are estimated to be 1 out 720. Two thousand and sixty nine (2069) $5 Metro farecards may be awarded to 2069 winners. The approximate retail value of the $5 farecards is $5. Odds of winning are estimated to be 1 out of 35. Five thousand (5000) Chevy Chase Bank tote bags may be awarded to 5000 winners. Odds of winning are estimated to be 1 out of 14. Prizes are not transferable and may not be redeemed for cash or other consideration, except Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize for one of equal or greater value. All taxes on prizes won are the sole responsibility of the individual winner. Prizes won in the name of minors shall be awarded in the name of parent or legal guardian for the benefit of the minor and the parent or guardian will be responsible for all federal, state and local taxes. Winners will be contacted by phone, mail, or express delivery and provided with information to claim their prize. All prizes will be awarded only if all winning coupons are distributed, either by ATM entry or alternative entry. If due to a printing, production or other error, more prizes are claimed than are intended to be awarded for any prize level per the above, the intended prizes will be awarded in a random drawing from among all verified and validated prize claims received for that prize level. In no event will more than the stated number of prizes be awarded.
4. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules & Instructions and the decisions of the judges. Void where prohibited by law or regulation. All federal, state and local laws apply. No payment or submission to sales presentation required. By entering the promotion or participating in any promotion or prize-related activity, participants and any heirs, executors or administrators of the participant agree to release, discharge and hold harmless Chevy Chase Bank, Planit, and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, agencies, officers, directors, and employees and other relevant persons, from any and all liability, injury, loss or damages or cause of action whatsoever named of any kind that may arise out of participation in the promotion or out of the acceptance, use, misuse or possession of prize.
5. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission to use winner's name, photograph or likeness for purposes of advertising and promotions and other publicity conducted by Chevy Chase Bank, Planit, and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, agencies, officers, directors, and employees and other relevant persons, without further permission, compensation, or remuneration of any kind, where allowable by law. Prize winners will be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Compliance and Release of Liability form within ten (10) days of delivery. Non-compliance with these official rules or failure to execute the appropriate forms listed above, or the return of prize notification as undeliverable, will void that entry and an alternate winner will be randomly selected from all remaining eligible entries received.
