1 A Super Statement Savings Account is free for the first three months when opened the same day as a Student Banking Package from 06/01/09 through 09/30/09. Thereafter, a $5 monthly fee will apply if the savings balance falls below the $300 balance requirement.
Additional Account Terms: The minimum balance required to open a Student Checking Account is $25 and $50 for a Super Statement Savings Account. As of 07/28/09, the annual percentage yield (APY) for the Super Statement Savings Account is 0.10% APY for balances over $25,000 and 0.05% APY for balances below $25,000. 2 Subject to credit approval. You must be 18 years of age or older to apply. There is no annual fee when attached to your Student Banking Package. Line of credit advances, payments, interest charges and minimum payments due are provided on your monthly checking account statements. Interest accrues only when you advance your credit line and continues until paid in full. Payments may be made through Chevy Chase Online Banking, Automated Telephone Banking or at Chevy Chase Bank ATMs.
